About Ga Presbytery
The Rainbow Presbytery: districts and congregations of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana across Greater Accra, from Tema eastward to the Nsawam road and north to the Akwapim hills.
Who we are
Ga Presbytery is one of the presbyteries of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana (PCG). It traces its origin to the Ga-Adangme Presbytery, one of the five presbyteries created by Synod in 1922. Following a Synod resolution in 1971, the Ga-Adangme Presbytery was divided, and Ga Presbytery was inaugurated in 1972.
Today the Presbytery comprises 28 districts and the Ga Mission Field, administered directly by the Presbytery: 190 congregations and 93 preaching points in all. Its office is at Jubilee House, Osu Kuku Hill. The Presbytery is known as the Rainbow Presbytery.
The Presbyterian Church of Ghana itself began on this soil: the first Basel missionaries arrived at Christiansborg, Osu, in 1828. The Church is marking that bicentenary as PCG@200.

How we are organised
The website keeps four kinds of leadership distinct, because visitors often confuse them:
- Presbytery Officers: the Chairperson, the Presbytery Clerk and the Lay Representative to the General Assembly Council. Meet the officers.
- District leadership: each district is led by a District Minister. See the districts.
- Ministers: ministers and catechists serving congregations. Ministers directory.
- Presbytery Office & staff: the administrative team at Jubilee House. Office & staff.
