From the arrival of the Basel missionaries at Osu in 1828 to the Ga Presbytery of today.

- 1828
The Basel missionaries arrive at Christiansborg, Osu
The beginning of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, on the soil of today's Ga Presbytery. PCG@200 marks 200 years in 2028.
- 1922
Ga-Adangme Presbytery created
One of the original five presbyteries created by Synod.
- 1971
Synod divides the Ga-Adangme Presbytery
Into Ga Presbytery and Dangme-Tongu Presbytery.
- 1972
Ga Presbytery inaugurated
With nine districts. The first Chairman was Rev. E. A. Adjei and the first Clerk Rev. J. E. Svanikier.
- About 1982
A full-time Chairperson
After about ten years, the office of Chairperson was separated from congregational duties.
- 2024
PCG@200 celebrations launched
The Church unveiled its 200th anniversary logo at Christiansborg Castle, Osu, on 22 December 2024.

28 districts and the Ga Mission Field
Serving congregations across Greater Accra.
